Coins that were destroyed in great numbers when the Revolutionary Government based in the Capital issued the new "dalas" currency. Used by the Nobility, the coins have a value of over a thousand dalas each on the black market, which is enough money to support a person for about six months out on the Frontier.
Greco Rohman has a pocket full of these to use to bribe some services he wants done.
D gives one of these to Granny Gerheit for her services and buying weaponry from her which she finds to be very generous.
