Jessup the Beheader is part of Lord Valcua's elite guard, Valcua's Seven, serving his Lord as his personal beheader. He makes his appearance in Tyrant's Stars.

Appearance

Dressed like an old-fashioned headsman, with a dark brown hood and a long robe (but whether the two where a single garment or not was unclear). Jessup looks like a man in his late forties or early fifties, not particularly muscular build, but with a terrible hoarse voice that would suit someone of a much older age.

Powers and Abilities

At first glance Jessup seem incompetent and a clumsy warrior. But his dark cloud chop technique let him cut objects without even aiming for them.

He can create a pocket dimension, where he can summon his victims on the road to the beheader, which will lead them onto Jessup's chopping block of which they cannot find the will to move away from this mystic spell.

"First, there were decapitated corpses-which would probably be the work of Jessup the Beheader. The incident with the shrunken head explained why the heads of those people had never been located."
Count Braujou[[Tyrant's Stars|[src]]]

Paraphernalia

Jessup wields a great axe that looks disproportionate.

He also uses the shrunken human heads of his victims, which now have shrunk to the size of a  fist, as a projectile weapon. The heads will keep gnawing at their targets.

The chopping block, a U-shaped stand, that looked like an iron plate bent from both ends with terrific force, supported by a sturdy pedestal about a foot high.
