Jimmy Sangster

The author of countless horror and science-fiction screenplays, starting with Hammer Film Productions' 1956 film X: The Unknown. He's the man responsible for such early Hammer classics as The Revenge of Frankenstein and Horror of Dracula. At one point in his career one name alone didn't suffice, and he used an alias as well, "John Sansom". Although Hammer folded in 1974, this Sangster wasn't banished to Frontier. In the 1980s, he even tried his hand at writing paperbacks.
